An update in the world of Aaron Johnson Design. I have applied to the Nashville Software School, a 6-month web development training program founded to strengthen the web dev community of Nashville, TN. Remaining extremely anxious and excited as I wait to hear about the final list for admissions. It is a program of ever growing popularity so application quantity has surely risen.
As their website will tell you the program consists of two 3-month “semesters” in training. The first is front end web development followed by the second half focusing on the back end language of Ruby and Ruby on Rails. I am hoping that this program will give me a stronger foundation in programming that I can apply to my web development and web design knowledgebase. Having a more fundamental understanding of the code will allow for more functional online application and website designs. Super excited to add these skills to my background and maybe even find a new passion on the interactive side of design work in this new technological age.
